Set in the picturesque Yarra Valley, Bianchet Winery and Vineyard has been producing unique and interesting wines since it was established in 1976. Extended ageing has added richness and complexity to this wine. Decanting recommended. Dark chocolate and dried fruit feature on the nose, with ripe blackberry jam, molasses, and spice on the nose and palate. French oak flavours and tannins complement the fruit giving palate length and intensity. Winemaker – Lindsay Corby
Stuart Knox Real Review 94/100. Dense ruby core that only slightly fades to the rim. Plum, dry leather, bresaola, and cola spice aromatics. Dark fruits, and mocha notes fill on entry, then it glides into a dusty earth and cured meat savoury tone. Great length and the tannins have integrated with style into the body of the wine. Still youthful at 10 years old, it is only just starting its journey into maturity. A classy wine that is in a great spot right now but will also mature further 11 FEB 2023
